Hey Steve! I’ll be back to incense posting in the morning but good to see you over here. I’m afraid I never did get Conchords, I gave it about 2/3 of the way into the first season and then checked it out again for a bit during the second season and just couldn’t get into it (I figured I’d love it with its musical tie ins but no dice). On the other hand I have been watching 2 1/2 Men more often of late, some in syndication and some because I watch all the other Monday night comedies so I’m keeping up with it. I do find it entertaining, so 1 for 2 here I guess.

As to the 360 I try to stay a ways behind to get the cheaper games, but I sprung recently for two new ones, Borderlands and Dragon Age: Origins. Borderlands is one of the most addicting games I’ve ever played, I’m loving every minute of it (it’s one I appear to be a natural at lol).

Mike – your word has always been gospel to me when it comes to incense, but no love for Flight of the Conchords or Two and a Half Men?! Say it ain’t so! My wife’s and my two favs!

Hadn’t checked out Prattle in a while so just saying hey here. Cool you have the 360 – I have always stayed a generation behind on video games largely because it is a lot cheaper that way, so I haven’t yet seen the awesomeness currently out there with the 360 and PS3. Have actually had a ton of fun with my Nintendo DS the past year – never thought a handheld would be as fun as my PS2 or Gamecube

Dead Space on Xbox 360 is the craziest spookiest game ever. i won’t play it with my son in the room because it makes too scared. Now that what I’m talking about, really if your going to pay 50.00 for a game, you better get your money’s worth!

I could nearly watch McShane read the phone book, after all he’s the guy who brought poetry to profanity in Deadwood. Assigning Kings to Sunday night and expecting it to draw given it’s apparent large budget almost makes me think they didn’t have enough faith in it. But hey I’ll watch whatever McShane’s in next.

Reaper on the other hand looks fairly doomed.

I’ve been enjoying Kings, largely because of McShane, though I could do without the whole religious angle, but it doesn’t surprise me it isn’t doing well. It’s just not a network style show, the characters aren’t black and white enough. Put this on a cable channel & I think it does much better,

Reaper! No, please get reeled in again next year. Sure it has its annoying side, but overall it’s light, with funny characters and a great premise. Write the CW to continue it so you have something to be annoyed by!

That is indeed one I’d like to get to at some point. Probably because I had trouble staying awake during the first film and trouble watching the second.

Fair enough, but even though it has had two films made of it, give “Solaris” a try. I found it to be a really good read.

Hey dt! Right about the space

I’m fairly unlikely to read about half the ones you listed, pretty much all the ones that have had movies made, just due to overexposure. I realize the books are probably a lot better, but I think at this point it’s a matter of choosing which books I’ll be able to read in my lifetime. I’ve got a big stack of PKD as it is (I’m in the middle of Scanner Darkly for one), but if I live long enough I’ll probably get to that one. I think that’s the lament, that I won’t be able to get to everything I’d want to. :\
